OSCODA-WURTSMITH AIRPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
In the past this program has been awarded for flight training ground school and flight lessons. Applicants may now utilize this scholarship for tuition assistance at a university, college or aviation training school. A $1,000.00 scholarship is being offered through McDonald's of Tawas for one area high school senior. This $1,000.00 scholarship was created to perpetuate the memory of Ryan Coleman, a Tawas High School student who died of cancer. The Joseph Barkman Scholarship is available to high school seniors and current college students.
