Girls States at Highland twp

Girls States at Highland twp Michigan:
Izzy Urban qualified for states this weekend.  She wrestled really well for being a new wrestler.  She is the third girl in school history to qualify.  There is a hope to add a fifth division to wrestling and have a girls division wrestle at the State Tournament.

Individual Districts at Shepherd
We wrestled at individual Districts on Saturday.  We were able to have two wrestlers that placed and those were Luke Martin at 160 and Lukas Herrick at 215.  Luke Martin placed 3rd and went  4-1 on the day winning some close matches.  Lukas Herrick placed 2nd and went 2-1 on the day.  They will wrestle again this Saturday at Grayling for Individual Regionals.  If they place in the top four there they will qualify for the State Wrestling tournament.
