Mr. Jerashen has been the Director of Bands at Tawas Area Schools since 2017.  He holds a B.A. degree in Music from Saginaw Valley State University.  He has performed with the Midland Community Orchestra and the Saginaw Brass Quintet.   Mr. Jerashen is the past conductor of the Classic Legacy Band of Saginaw and the Mid-Michigan Brass Band, as well as serving as Assistant Director of the Midland Community Orchestra.   He was accepted into the Michigan Youth Arts Band in 2006; received the Rhea Miller scholarship in music award; awarded 2 Musician of the Year awards while attending SVSU; and received the Outstanding Senior in Music Education Award.
