I was born and raised in Oscoda and graduated in 1992. I then attended Saginaw Valley State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with minors in Math and Science. I began my teaching career in 2000 at Tawas Area Schools. I love teaching here just as much as I did that first year. I truly believe Tawas has the best staff and students! During my time at Tawas Area Schools I have taught various grades; 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade. I began teaching 4th grade in 2018 and I hope to continue teaching 4th grade for the rest of my career.

I am married to Steve Klinger. We are a blended family and we have 5 children. We like to spend our time camping, visiting family, and going to the beach in the summer. We also enjoy family movie nights and puzzles. During the school year we spend our time at various sporting events, band concerts, and other activities watching our kids. There is never a dull moment and I love it that way!

My number one goal is to make sure students have a fun and successful school year. In my classroom I emphasize that everyone makes mistakes and that it is absolutely okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. :)
