FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 7TH, 8TH, AND 9TH IN THE FALL!

NEMTA (Northeast Michigan Talent Alliance which includes COP ESD, COOR ISD and IRESA) was awarded a Marshall Plan grant in August of 2019 to create a STEM to career pipeline. The grant focuses on both STEM Professionals and Skilled Trades. These talent pools must be addressed concurrently, as they share common skill sets, and interested students may pursue either pathway. STEM refers not only to Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, but also to Skilled Trades associated with Manufacturing and Fabrication. A Skilled Trade, and STEM Professional talent shortage currently exists across the Northeastern Lower Peninsula, and all of Michigan.

In 2021 we held our first middle school summer camps at the Career Tech Center. This year we have double the opportunities for students!

There is no cost to students!
